About Your Trip

A mix of colorful harbors and sweeping coastlines, this nautical trip allows you to recharge by the sea as you take in some of Canada's maritime history. From learning about the tradition of fabric milling in Baddeck to discovering the picturesque village of Peggy's Cove, you'll have plenty of time to relax and take in the sea air, as you make your way through Canada’s Eastern Maritime provinces.

Along the way, you’ll make the most of your waterfront lodgings, with special excursions that take you from harbor towns, across bays and beyond. You’ll enjoy a special local seafood dinner at one of the city's best local restaurants, The Restaurant at Five Fishermen. At Shediac Bay, savor a fisherman's lobster feast and Highlight Lunch, as you cruise the waters of the bay, taking in the scenery and warm Acadian hospitality. You’ll even meet a former scallop fisherman for a culinary demonstration and dinner par excellence, featuring Digby's famous scallops.

What we love:

• You’ll be treated to seamless baggage handling at each hotel, private airport transfers and much more — even hotel and restaurant gratuities are included, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
• At the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax, your local expert will enthrall you with tales of key historical events, including the Halifax Explosion and the ill-fated Titanic.
• You’ll discover Mi’kmaq heritage and learn about the legends of Glooscap through spoken word and song when you interact with a member of the First Nations Community.
